LUX FOR LIFE 2007 HOSTED BY LUX
Lux for Life one of the most popular tournaments in SSS Golf
Section
with all the great prizes of household appliances, was played in
extreme heat with 56 golfers signed up on 22nd April at the
beautiful Royal Golf and Country Club with its fast greens which favored
a few and let down many playing format was stroke play, played at 3/4
handicap, the winner Lars Gustafson of group A with 76 net score, Bjarne
Kjersner closely after in second place with 77 net score and third place
was taken by Khun Petcharat with 78 net score
Lux had created a fantastic display of prizes. There were a fierce
competition to take home some of these valuable prizes
The winners in Group B finished with the lowest scores score of the
day, Bengt Högström won at 73 net score, Kaarlo Laakso closely after in
second place with 74 net score and third place was taken by Khun Somsak
Group C was won at 80 net score by Henrik Langer, Lux arranged
prizes for 2 and 3 places as well, Kristian Kure won second place with
83 and third place was taken by Mogens Petersen with 84 net score and CC
& Guest Group was won by Steffan Lyrestam at 74 net score.
As an extra dimension to the game there were prizes for longest
distance after two strokes on hole 15, Hakon Palm won for men, longest
drive hole 5 was won by Lars Londal and the long hitting Jiambutr
Petcharat won the ladies prizes, both hole 5 and 15.
Lots of prizes were handed out to the winners, for those who didn’t
win there were more than 20 lucky draw prizes. Almost all went home
with something from a memorable day.
During the prize ceremony Lux invited us for a Buffet dinner and
drinks
Big thanks to Lux, Håkon Palm and his team for the support and we
look forward to next years Lux for Life Tournament.
