SSS GOLF IN MARCH
Ambassador Cup 2007 hosted by Ericsson
Ambassador
Cup is one of the majors in SSS Golf Section and it was played with
great success over two days on 17-18 March 2007 at The Majestic Creek
Country Club in Hua Hin, the tournament was once again generously hosted
by Ericsson, represented by Hans Karlsson.
A total of
47 players found their way to Hua Hin, many of them with their families
for a weekend near the famous Hua Hin Beach Resort Town for two days of
challenging golf and party on Saturday night with the seven team
Ericsson 3G-String Band headed by Hans himself. As last year the music
just started and dance floor was crowded with happy dancing golfers. We
owe Hans and his band members a big hand and thanks for this
extraordinary entertainment experience...
Hans
assured us they will be back for next years Ambassadors Cup and we look
forward to dance to Ericsson 3G-String Band again.
The first
day of golf was played with rather high scores, the overnight leaders
were Kristian Wensel and Peder Haraldsson both 39 points, Anette
Haraldsson topped the B Group with 34 points and Christine Hawi carded
35 points in the C group, the CC & Guest group was headed by Khun Suwat
with net score of 72
On the
second day, Anette Haraldsson group B managed the top score with 42
points with her 34 points on day one she won group B and grabbed the Cup
at totally 76 points, four points ahead of Kristian Wensel, Peder
Haraldsson and Boby Janssens all with 72 points. The winner of group A
was Kristian Wensel, group C was won by Kristian Kure with a total of 70
points, The guest from Ericsson, Khun Prapast continued his impressive
play with a net score 71 and won the CC & Guest Group with a final score
of net score 144 after 36 holes.
The hard
hitting Napakkamon Anant won both days’ longest drive.
Over two
days 47 players, 36 holes, there were 38 birdies made.

to Ericsson, Hans Karlsson and his team for the support and we look
forward to next years Ambassador Cup Tournament.
